Danang International Airport, located in Hai Chau District, Danang City, is one of the three major airports in Vietnam, along with Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi and Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City. It is about 5 kilometers away from the city center.

The airport was built by the French colonial government in the 1930s for military purposes and was known as Tourane Airport.
